Institute of Play is excited to be back to SXSWedu this year to share the ideas that have made the biggest impact on our work recently.
On Wednesday, we’re facilitating a workshop about designing teacher development and teacher education programs, along with the Woodrow Wilson Academy of Teaching and Learning. The workshop will focus on two stages of the design process where program designers most often get stuck: brainstorming and testing. By the end of the workshop, participants will have a bunch of ideas and practical tools they can use in their own programs.
On Tuesday, we’re bringing together three school leaders from Colorado for a panel discussion moderated by Jane Shirley from Catapult Leadership. Through inspiring examples of innovative schools with unique takes on student-centered learning, we’ll highlight best practices for teaching, learning and leadership.
